Day 1 - Dublin

Upon arrival in Dublin, meet your car at the airport and transfer to the city centre and check-in to your hotel. Begin your discovery of Dublin with a city Hop on Hop off tour bus conducted on double Decker bus. The Dublin tour offers sightseeing routes that cover all the main sights in the city with live commentary. Highlights include the Georgian Quarter with its magnificent architecture, Temple Bar and O’Connell Street, with its historic central GPO, site of the Easter Rising of 1916. Visit to Trinity College, the most famous university in Ireland founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth 1st of England and the scholarly home to many classical and contemporary Irish writers.  You will have the opportunity to view the world famous Book of Kells and to stroll through the beautifully preserved old library.  Continue on to St Patrick’s Cathedral - Ireland's largest church was founded beside a sacred well where St. Patrick is said to have baptised converts around 450A.D. A stone slab bearing a Celtic cross and covering the well was un-earthed at the turn of the century (20th). It is now preserved in the west end of the cathedral's nave. The original building was just a wooden chapel and remained so until 1192 when Archbishop John Comyn rebuilt the cathedral in stone. In the afternoon, visit the Guinness Storehouse. Opened in December 2000, the Guinness Storehouse is a whole museum dedicated to Ireland’s most famous export, Guinness stout. Entry to the Guinness Storehouse is through a pint glass-shaped atrium capable of holding 10,000 pints of stout, and there is a free pint of the magic brew for every visitor at the end of the tour in the spectacular Gravity Bar, which is located on the top floor and offers spectacular views across the city. Continue on to The Irish Museum of Modern - Ireland’s leading national institution for the collection and presentation of modern and contemporary art .In the evening visit the historic James Old Jameson Distillery an unforgettable experience that will transport you back in time to the days when one of Ireland’s greatest entrepreneurs, John Jameson first made the whiskey that is a legacy today. The city is crammed with an abundance of things to do and see. Day 2 - Dublin

Post breakfast Depart Dublin. Tour leaves Dublin at 08:45 am, A full day excursion takes you into the heart of the Wicklow mountains to Glendalough (Arrive approx 10.15 am) - a 6th century monastic settlement where we visit the monastic ruins (included) with its round tower and time for a walk to the famous lakes. We journey across the beautiful and wild Wicklow Gap, we journey through some of Irelands most spectacular and varied scenery. Arrive in the Medieval Capital of Ireland Kilkenny City, Time to explore the City, Castle Gardens and take a Guided Walking Tour of the City (included) through Kilkenny medieval side streets and visit the 'Black Abbey'. Depart Kilkenny and arrive back in Dublin at 18.00 hrs. Overnight in hotel.


Day 3 - Dublin

Full Irish breakfast at your hotel.OptionDepart for a full day tour of the Ring of Kerry. Departing from Dublin Heuston Station, you'll catch the train to Mallow in County Cork (breakfast service available onboard). From here, you will transfer by coach to Killarney to begin your tour of the Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Kerry offers magnificent panoramas of the Atlantic Ocean, the rugged coastline of the South-west Ireland contrasting with the rich and varied vegetation nurtured by the influence of the Gulf Stream. This scenic day out by coach and rail takes you to the Macgillicuddy Reeks, Carrantuohill (Ireland's highest mountain), Moll's Gap, Ladies View and the world-famous Lakes of Killarney. At the end of the tour you'll return to Killarney for the train departure to Mallow, joining the Dublin-bound express which arrives in Dublin by 21:00 hrs.


Day 4 - London

Full Irish breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Dublin Airport for check-in and departure.
